I'd have to go back into their Instagram to find a picture of it. But, I have a 2 year old and no time do do that for you haha. Take a look there, that photo posted earlier should give you a timeline to start.

The other day I searched for 26.5" scale guitars when this thread started. And a lot of 7 string electrics came up: Jackson, Schecter etc... But my impression was there is a fair amount of interest for a long scale electric for drop tunings, using it as baritone guitar etc...could be you're onto something.

There is always this if you want a Gypsy jazz-themed tele. Yes, it’s that DuPont - he had this at his booth at Fontainebleau last year.
Ha ha. After Rick Beato's recent "de facto" call for them to end this suit and fire the CEO, I don't see how the general discussion on this matter comes back at all in some form of positive result for Fender.

Oh awesome, you don’t happen to have a photo or a link to more information?

Man that sounds like a awesome idea
Like a Tele body with a Selmer-ish scale length? That could be a hit with the guitar public in general.
Fairly certain that any idea I have will not be a hit based on prior experience but I like them.
I'll have to put this one on the list though. I like the idea of a tele sized body with a Selmer shaped cutaway.

Hide yo' strats, hide yo' teles. Particularly in the EU.

Probably not but when you consider how incredibly dumb it was in the first place, who knows.
