Anyone in the Las Vegas area down to jam?

I'm new to this style and would like to play with someone.

I searched to see if there is such a thing as the Hot Club of Las Vegas and indeed there is. Why not go to one their gigs and try to connect? Either talk with the band and ask them if they could point you in the right direction, or, there's bound to be another guitar player or two or more (probably more) that would also be interested in starting something.

I had no idea when I was working and living in Vegas that there was a thing called Gypsy Jazz (well there probably wasn't but no Django music that I knew of), just a lot of artists 10-15 yrs past their prime and odd show room gigs which seemed to be all pomp no circumstance (played my share of both). I know there is a guy there now Mundo Juillerat who runs the HCOLV and I have tried reaching out to him but it is crickets,
