Well if you can afford it - yes! But most folk can’t and I’ve seen too many people come along, get sucked in, drop thousands on a guitar they can’t sell on, then get tired of the genre and move on. And equally I’ve known astonishing players who get by with a basic guitar. So I think it’s wise for anyone getting into this to slow down, enjoy the journey and not get too soaked in the prosumer hype. Wait long enough and the right guitar will find you!
