Queens NYNew Gaffiero, Paul McEvoy
I'm the second owner of this easy playing Jerome Duffell. I would describe the one as warm and balanced, more modern. It definitely gets that "growl" when le pomping -- lot of low end for a petite bouche. This guitar plays really fast with reasonably low action (no buzz with my heavy touch).
It has a piezo transducer pickup installed inside with the 1/4 jack endpin.
Location: NYC
Asking: $3500 + Shipping
I'll take some video and send samples upon request.

Noice! Duffell makes a helluva guitar. Spruce top with rosewood? 670 scale?
I believe the top on this one western red cedar. 670 scale. Rosewood sides maybe?
It's a mighty fine guitar. I love playing it one stage. Plays smooth. I can pull off things on this guitar that I can't on my other (gaffiero, but I have the action set higher). I would honestly record an album with this guitar if I was in the position to, because it's so balanced and warm.
But after spending the month with it, I realized I want something sonically brighter that can cut through an acoustic jam. Currently chasing a more traditional Selmer/Busato style sound.
I'm open to trades for the right guitar.
That's spruce with some pigment, not cedar. Nice price for a Duffell, he's a great builder, CVH plays one of his models. I think a new one costs 5k+. Could you go ahead and post a video here so we can have a listen? Thanks
I think there are a bunch of vids of that particular guitar.

Don't see so many used ones for sale. I'm still very happy with mine after 7 years.
This is a brilliant guitar that I'm sure most of us have heard before. This is the guitar that sold me on Duffell guitars. If I didn't already have a other one in the queue, no question I would have bought this one.
Players that use Jerome's guitars don't often let them go, so if you're looking for a proven monster of a guitar, it's this one.
Man, that’s a great opportunity, someone needs to hop on this! What is the neck like?
Argghhhhh, CLEAN THE FRETBOARD!!!!!
Looks great though 😁. I've heard a few in person and played one last year, and they've all been loud and very well rounded tonally - the trebles were not brash on any of them and they had a distinct sweetness.
Hey Squad,
Here are a couple of clips below for reference. I just put some fresh strings on yesterday and it's much sounding much brighter -- which is making me have second thoughts on selling it. But think I can still let it go and continue my journey
I recorded these with the Shure SM57 and blended a little of my iphone audio with it.
I just listened to your Rose Room. If that's "slop", please dont post anything when you're on top of your game. I fear that it would be so good, I might never want to play again!
