Hey everyone.

just wanted to let you know that stephane wrembel and myself recently
recorded about 60 gypsy jazz rhythm tracks, and we just posted the
first batch on his newly redesigned website. This is just the
begining, we should have the rest of them up in the next few weeks.
Also, we mixed it so that the guitar is in the left channel, and bass
is in the right, so that you can adjust the balance to your liking (or
eliminate 1 of the instruments all together). Please check it out and
play along with the tracks!!! go to http://www.stephanewrembel.com
and click "play alongs"
enjoy!

All right! It's good to see the site finally got updated, too.

    Best,
    Jack.

I hope I'm not stealing Jared's thunder, but a lot more backing tracks have been added recently. What a great contribution, thanks!

BTW, I gotta say, the new Barbes-Brooklyn CD is fantastic. Thanks again.

    Hey Jared,

I don't know if you check in here that often, but one nice addition for a lot of players would be chord charts for the tunes, even if it's just a link to one on another site. I'm always surprised to see how many standard tunes are new to people at jams...

    Best,
    Jack.

    Hi,

Great, finally I don't have to record my solo stuff myself. There were some Tracks missing @ nuagesdeswing.fr...

    Again, great side.

Great playalongs! I especially like those bits with the bow on the bass.
    Thanks a lot, great work!
