This tune appears on the second Bireli Gipsy Project CD, although I had thought the name was Ballade Jessie. Is anyone familiar with the song and the right changes? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Bob,

Try something like what I've got below. It sounds to me like it's mostly ii-V-I stuff, but played in a more modern style than we might be used to hearing, so you may need to play with your chord shapes, passing tones, etc.
    A Section:
    Em7/B A7|Dmaj7 |Em7/B A7|Bb6 Dmaj7|
    G#m7 C#7|F#m7 B7|Em7/B A7|Dmaj7 |
    first A finishes with a turnaround I can't catch...

    B Section:
    G C7 | D | Bm7 E7 | Fm Bb7 Em7 A7|

Something like that, anyway! Hope it helps...

    best,
    Jack.

    latcho dives barengero,
I have also some other songs written with finale,
like "ma première guitare" from Sacha Distel. When I'm looking for a song and I don't find it in some real-book, I'll generally make a transscription of it
because it is also some kind of ear-training.
    à la prochaine
