    A good suggestion...but no. If you listen to the upper register and especially the sound of the bended strings it becomes quite obvious (at least IMHO): a regular flat-top (not a SelMac) with old worn-out strings.

    Perhaps you're right, but we shall never know.

    Tell you what, if you admit that it's a gut-stringed guitar I'll be prepared to forgive you for beating us at curling :wink:
  • Re: Henning Doderer: He makes fine handmade, to order guitars. Joscho Stephan used Doderer guitars before and during his shift to Volkert guitars.

    There have been several articles on Doderer guitars in "Acoustic Guitar" magazine. The latest one in August 2013 on Doderer's then new "Honey Bee" guitar.
