David Lange, Pearl Django's accordion player, has posted a lesson on pitch bending:

    Really great accordion tutorial :-)
    This pitch bending reminds me harmonica overblows technique.

    Hi - I'm new here.
    I have been playing for a while and I got me a "new" accordion. It's a ca. 1940 Excelsior and it has these 4 "rocker" switches that allow one to control how much each reed block is activated. When using the low "bassoon" reed and opening it only partially, one can bend the notes really well.
