    You know it's funny, many years ago I played a jazz-rock kinda gig and a guy came up to me afterward and said "ah, I hear you listen to a lot of Django!"

    Which at the time, I hadn't listened to any! All my kicks were stolen Jerry Garcia-isms...

    But of course, I learned later...who was one of Jerry''s favorites? (And Willie Nelson too, another big influence on me!)
