  Thanks to Paps who discovered an interesting resource for the Vedettes magazines of the 40's, here are the photos of two of these men who wrote lyrics to Django's songs : Laurence Riesner and Francis Blanche.

  Yes Francois I saw those pictures. I was shocked when I discovered how young Francis Blanche was! I mean, I knew that he must have been young at that time but that is super young

  In fact he was born in july 1921, so I believe that he was even more young-looking that really young (22 yo in 1943). What surprised me the most is how Francis BLANCHE was lean in his youth. If I remember correctly he appears also shortly in a movie with Charles Trénet.
