thanks for your very interesting post. I wouldn't have recognized all the quotes you mentioned.

But there is one thing I can`t follow you: The Intro of Django's "When Day Is Done" is the original verse, not a quote of "Maria Elena". Listen to this vocal recording, which includes the verse:
