Except for the A, they are exactly the same. And the bass and/or rhythm player will be taking care of the A for you, so it works just fine.

C#m7b5 is also equivalent to an Em6. These substitutions make for a lot of interesting possibilities in both soloing and rhythm playing. For instance, you can play all of Dark Eyes using m7b5 shapes.
