Thanks! It's one of the Integral CDs that I don't have. Yet. Interesting discussion!

    Hey JK,

Yeah, I know it is hard to notate some of the nuances. I am usually just happy to get the pitches right and then the timing comes from the recording.

What notation program are you using?

    Thanks
I still need to put this up. Been a little busy, but plan on completing and putting up this weekend.

In case it helps anyone else I think I grab all the listed tracks and made a PDF with which albums they were from.

Any corrections or other Best of's I missed please feel free to add them.

I've gotta go for the 1937 masterpiece "Sheik of Araby".

Close runners up--- "Honeysuckle Rose" "I'll see you in my dreams" and "Nuages" (the version with the artifical harmonics)
Paul Cezanne: "I could paint for a thousand years without stopping and I would still feel as though I knew nothing."

Edgar Degas: "Only when he no longer knows what he is doing does the painter do good things.... To draw, you must close your eyes and sing."

Georges Braque: "In art there is only one thing that counts: the bit that can’t be explained."

    I'm with you, David. Mine,too.
  • Too hard to pick a fave but to name a few that jump out at the moment Blues for Ike and Blues Clair.

Heck for me it would be easier to list the few that didn't move me.
The Magic really starts to happen when you can play it with your eyes closed
