I shot two videos during Fapy's set. Both are at 720p. The photos and vids I am sending up were done on a camera I purchased the week before the DFNW. It is an Fujifilm Finepix S4200 which I purchased for 156 dollars! It is silent (why would I mention that?) and features a 24X optical zoom, aka a junior telescope! I was in the front row and was blown away by Fapy's masterful playing. I've been a fan of Fapy's since the late 1980's. There were three that I first discovered, Fapy, Angelo and Stochelo. Angelo was the one who brought me to the Djangofest NW 2003 and 2004, then years later Stochelo after missing (due to health problems) his first appearance at DFNW. And now, finally, the triumvirate is complete with the arrival and triumph of Fapy Lafertin at Djangofest Northwest 2013! The next great one I hope Nick and the gang can get is Bireli...if he does the DFNW20XX I can die happy.

Can someone help me out here? I'm a newbie to this site and I followed the protocol for youtube submittals as best as I could but have obviously failed. Please...someone got a clue. These two videos are excellent, so I just want them to be available to all who care...

By the way - it sounded like the audio had a bit of a peak to it, so I took a sample of it and compared it to a pink-noise standard (acoustic music often approximates pink noise... it's like white noise but with a different energy balance) It looked like you had a 20db peak centered around 3,200 hz that extended from about 700hz to about 10,0000 hz. This might be the circuitry of the camera pumping the vocal range to increase speech clarity (check the camera to see if it has different audio settings like "conversation" or "music" or "cut wind noise" or whatever...) or it could just be that your hand was cupped over the mic area and amplifying that frequency.

Just truncate the URL so that the part after '&features=share...' isn't showing - the youtube plugin on this Bboard is a bit old-hat & only handles the simplest forms of link.
