Come clean, Bones. There are a couple of loose braces inside your body as well, I have heard. I've also heard your bridge and tailpiece are original, although perhaps hot quite shaped like they used to be.

It's true - the original equipment on gypsy jazzers does tend to round and droop from the effects of time. Refurbishment and replacement equipment is available (As seen on TV) but the appearance of the scarred, dented, drooping vintage gypsy jazzer can evince a certain nostalgic charm favored by aficionados of such things, or so says my wife... ;-)
You get one chance to enjoy this day, but if you're doing it right, that's enough.
