    It's true - the original equipment on gypsy jazzers does tend to round and droop from the effects of time. Refurbishment and replacement equipment is available (As seen on TV) but the appearance of the scarred, dented, drooping vintage gypsy jazzer can evince a certain nostalgic charm favored by aficionados of such things, or so says my wife... ;-)

    Yeah but the 'action' and playability isn't what it once was and with the warped neck, loose braces and sunken top I don't think even a neck reset and full re-dress would bring it back to original specs! :x

    Plus I can't keep it in tune...
