Thanks, not quite what I was hoping for.
It would be cool to be able to sort members by alphabet just a simple sort function. Not sure what the order is now,oldest to newest maybe? Perhaps add a location column be able to find all members from N. J. etc. if you were going to visit a relative and wanted to know who's in a specific area. Of course it would only be as good as the information on the members page.

@pickitjohn if you go to the members list : http://www.djangobooks.com/forum/members

and click on the "Users Name" heading at the top, it will sort the members alphabetically by name.

Good to know that THANKS.

Is there anyway to get to a particular Letter or maybe even better, have the
little name guessing "GENIE" working in two places. Would probably need a
member's only search engine. Just guessing on which of the 468 pages someone is on now is cumbersome. ~X(

@pickitjohn you could do a wildcard search for a user. For example, to search for all the users beginning with the letter "j," type this in the search field: "@user j*" and select the search type "extended"

I don't believe I still have my old DOS thinking cap around. Once the G. U. I.
Graphic User Interface came around I was HAPPY to just point & Click, much friendlier.

Anyway...

Here is my results from your suggested wildcard search…

Search Again / Advanced SearchNo results for "@user j*".

@pickitjohn sorry, I think the wildcard searches require at least 3 characters, so something like "@user jon*" would pull up all the users with "jon" in their name.

Any update on Users page Comments, Discussions, & My Attachment Tabs coming back again. Their working on My HTC EVO Android Phone.
Still missing on iPad & Macbook
