Hi all,
I'm a new explorer in the world of Gypsy Swing, having grown up listening to the great Django.
After seeing Stochelo & Sebastien last week (bloody awesome, inspirational) I would very keen to hear of anyone's recommendations for must hear recordings of post Django guitar players.
Many thanks,
Andrew

Tchavolo Schmitt - Miri Famila
Lollo Meier - Rosas
Angelo Debarre - Gipsy Unity
Moreno - Manouche D'aujourd'hui
Fapy Lafertin & Le Jazz/Tim Kliphuis - literally anything
I was starting to feel like I had said something wrong.
Rocky Gresset-self titled album
Yourgui Loeffler-Bouncin' around
Both are amazing works of art.
Les Doigts De l'Homme- 1910 and Mumbo Jumbo
Gonzalo Bergara Quartet- Walking Home
The Rosenberg Trio- Roots
Stephane Wrembel Trio with David Grisman- Gypsy Rumble
Rosenberg Trio - Roots is killer. Very nicely recorded too.
I purchased Rosenberg Live at the Northsea yesterday, which is pretty mindblowing.
Sebastian Ginieaux's record is nice, quite adventurous with a slight modern classical bent which I enjoy.
Angelo Debarre and Tchavalo Schmitt: Memoires: Memories of Django
Angelo Debarre: Come into my Swing (with incredible accordionist Ludovic Beier)
Les Doigts De l'Homme has been mentioned, but Mumbo Jumbo, the self-titled first album, and 1910 are fantastic
Bireli Lagrene - I really like Gipsy Project and Friends and Move
Romane - If you can find French Guitar, it is a superb record. I have not seen that one available for sale for a reasonable price however.
Stochelo and Romane: Double Jeu teams up two masters in Stochelo Rosenberg and Romane.
Gonzalo Bergara Quartet - Djangophonic
Selmer 607 - get them both
Bireli Lagrene - Gypsy Project
Tchan Tchou Vidal - La Gitane
