"Djangologists" by The Rosenberg Trio is IMO one of best album anyone produced in this style after Django. There is a lot of good recordings out there, but very rarely do you hear anyone capture the nostalgic feeling that they do on that album. The exception being of course Fapy Lafertin, who is also very interesting in that his sound and phrasing is very close to Django, but he has brought to the table some very interesting compositions of his own as well.

Fapy did an album with Lollo Meier that I really like, "Plachterida" is the name. I was quick to get a copy when it was fresh off the press because Fapy records seem sell out quickly. It's an interesting album with a fair share of old school Django tunes, but also some really interesting compositions by both Fapy and Lollo.
