Wow a resurrected old thread haha.

Gypsy Swing , Gypsy Jazz for me are the same, but I suppose different people will have different definitions. I think Angelo once told me that he called his own music Gypsy Swing as opposed to Gypsy Jazz. I've heard people call Louis Armstrong Gypsy Jazz, so it is what people want it to be. hahaha

I try not to be too concerned with labels unless there's a reason to do so (historical research, commercial reasons, etc.)...
