Was it XLR or 1/4" version?
not a bass pickups,
bass pickups requires a specially designed for this instrument, because of the curvature of the keyboard and strings available
The pickups can be used on bass guitars, and of all the musical instruments that have the strings say online, not suitable for double bass.
as an example has been used with great success on the mandolin.
