  • They now rate stuff on absolute peak power...clipping and all...is what I have been told. Unless it says RMS it's very likely peak.

So is it safe to say that the zt lunchbox acoustic is at least 100w? Which is more than I would use currently, if it outputs more than that, then good. But at 100watts, do you consider it a nice option? Or are there other, better alternatives at the same pric range?
  • I've always played directly via Baggs into PA but have trouble hearing myself over fiddle and second guitar in monitor mix. Also have a drummer, and tho he's quiet, it adds noise! The Fishman allows for a monitor of sorts close by and then a signal is sent to monitor and house.

@rgrice, the Fishman is the amp right? So smaller venues, so you can use the amp, then larger ones, use it as a monitor then plug to the PA?
  • Yeah. Loudbox 120. Plenty loud for most anywhere by itself. Direct out in one or both channels that can feed into PA makes it easy to balance house mix. They make a smaller one but like Lunchbox the speaker is small. The 120 has great natural sound and enough EQ so I don't even used the Baggs with it.

I saw the specs, and it looks nice. And it has everything to control tone and feedback, etc. Kinda out of my price range St the moment though. I'm looking to upgrade my guitar too, so funds are tight :)

Here's another great bit of gear It's very very similar to Schatten Uktra DI plus preamps but with more eq control and cheaper.

Oh, that looks great and affordable too. Hopefully I can find one here. The reason I wasn't able to get an LR Baggs para DI is because it's not available anywhere here. Even the official distributor doesn't have it.

Lunchbox acoustic is solid. For the price I don't think you can do better. Wattage is fine, you'll be fine playing this style.

Cool. Will think hard on that one. My music funds are currently reserved for a proper, Luthier made guitar. Lots of saving left to do for that though haha.
