Haha yeah. Watching tons of vids, from YouTube to lessons, listening to recordings and basically anything GJ related, I've learned to hear the 'sound' of a proper GJ guitar. My current one sounds like one, but it's very bassy, muddy, and very wet. Also, after two years, and now that I've started playing gigs, I figure maybe it's time for me to get a proper guitar.
But the other reason is coz my mom's going to Europe this October and it might be my best chance to get one. Shipping can be a pain, and customs here have a tendency to charge 200% the value of a shipped item, so there's that.
