Also a software engineer, but one of the reasons I love playing this style of guitar is the analog quality of it - the last thing I want to think about in my free time is troubleshooting tech or coding :)

Man, reading this makes me want to create a GitHub...
...but then I realize all my scripts are VBA macros and Google Apps Script that's been cobbled together by stumbling through Stack Exchange because I'm lazy and like to automate my spreadsheets.
Just curious... how many of you coders are self-trained?
i ask because my son has decided to teach himself coding... well, he did a bit of it when he got his degree in medical physics... so now he wants to teach himself to design gamer software... is he biting off more than he can chew?
Please PM me if you have any thoughts on this subject instead of replying here, as I don’t want to be a threadjacker..
Thanks,
Will

Adrian is wonderful player, and his SoundSlice is wonderful, too.
So I’m not surprised to learn he is a legendary coder...
Yay, Adrian!

@Wim Glenn I'm also working through aoc-2020 - honing clojure chops. https://github.com/jjp/aoc-2020. Currently running a couple days behind.
I’m a reformed coder who now tells other coders what to do. 😉
