@JazzDave Are you trying to set up a ninjam server? Did you forward port 2049? Could the computer firewall be blocking port 2049? "Connection refused" might also be because of an incorrect username/password for the server.
Yes, I'm trying to set up a ninjam server by using the facility in jamtaba. It appears to start OK with port 2049 but no option to set a password. I have allowed jamtaba through the firewall on the client machine, it was enabled automatically on the server machine. Yes, I can join a public jam.
