Note-for-note Django solos or Django riffs on other instruments?

It would be very interesting to hear how Django's guitar solos sound on different solo instruments such as trumpet or piano or any other.

Is anyone aware of any recorded examples of note-for-note solo transcriptions played with other instruments?

Or how about any examples where a Django riff or quote is used? Either in the solo, or as thematic material?

I briefly heard one piece of music that was used by a local dance troupe for a performance. It started out with the intro to Minor Swing. It may have been a modern instrumental adaptation of Minor Swing.
