About the music: I can't post more because I promised to Maria of the RivieraJazz label to promote the stuff in a different way, sorry :oops: .
Anyway, I'll post for sure more stuff to listen in my website and making some transcriptions (including this obviously) and grilles for you all. The CD is avaliable following the link under the Zuccheri's photo and there is also a lot of other great italian stuff. Why don't you make me open an Italy scene forum section?

What kind of wine do you prefer?
I ve discovered something interesting studying the Zuccheri's solo, soon avaliable for you all:
I was using a slowdowner software (really useful to make transriptions of very fast solos like this), to listen carefully all the notes, and I had a tuning problem, the notes were all bad, so I have meticolously tuned my guitar but the problem was still the same. Finally I've discovered that the song was recorded using a strange tuning, a sort of falling Ab (or a "raised" :roll: G if you prefer), I don't know if casually or intentionally but it was strange. Finally I've moved the pitch lower to -60, tuning the song in G.
I had the same problem transcribing the Django's solo on "Twelfth year" (take#1, the same played by Fapy) and I'm sure that the song was written in G, you can see it listening the take#2. So, if you want to work on the song or simply playing on it, remember to change the tuning of your guitar or to move the pitch down.
Are you saying only the G string was a little flat, or that you think this and Twelfth Year were in some kind of open G tuning? Good work with the Italia section!
