    Hi Emiliano,

Are you saying only the G string was a little flat, or that you think this and Twelfth Year were in some kind of open G tuning? Good work with the Italia section!

    Best,
    Jack.
    Hi Jack,
in both songs I'm speaking about global tuning, not of a particular string and not about open tunings.
    Thanks for your greetings.

I've discovered that the song was recorded using a strange tuning, a sort of falling Ab (or a "raised" G if you prefer), I don't know if casually or intentionally but it was strange. Finally I've moved the pitch lower to -60, tuning the song in G.

My last post was accidentally deleted, but I think this was the gist of it-
I'm not sure what was meant by 'falling Ab or a raised G'...Emiliano, can you fill in the blanks below to show what you meant?

    Standard tuning:
    1-E
    2-B
    3-G
    4-D
    5-A
    6-E

    New tuning:
    1-
    2-
    3-
    4-
    5-
    6-

    Thanks,
    Jack.

It's simple, try to tune your guitar (all the 6 strings) an half of an half-tone up. So E must to become Fb, A becomes Bbb and so on...
I hope to be clair enough  .

Clear enough! It might just be that the original tape was sped up during mastering. It happens pretty often.

    Best,
    Jack.

I'm thinking to make a forum or a website about world beer recently, but this doesn't seems to be the right place to do it...
Anyway, I'll send you some good wine Michael, but remember to find me that CD.
