Hi Emiliano,

I have been very curious about this guitarist since I first heard some of the recordings he did with his "Quartetto Enzo Gallo".

Can you or anybody else tell anything about him?

Best,
Barengero

I think you're speaking about this Enzo Gallo:

    enzogallo.jpg

He recorded some pieces with his quartet as "Andiamo ad Amsterdam", "Mia Cara Carolina", "Sciu Sciu", "Canzonetta d'amor" and others.
Here you can find a list of avaliable recordings.
I can't find nothing about bio on the net so I'm workin' on it and I'll make you know as soon as possible.

It seems to be really hard to discover something about Enzo Gallo's bio, I must to look if I can find a book here in Rome.

Hi Patrus! See you the next time, no problem.
I have only few tracks, not the entire album, anyway it's good stuff, don't hesitate and let me know if you buy it.

    Hi Patrus,

I think it is o.k. if it is not too expensive. I put one tune here, so you can listen before you bid.

    Hi everybody,
I'm Marco from Padova, Italy. I'm really not a fan of Django Reinhard, but i'm a guitarist too.
I've just read this post about the QUARTETTO ENZO GALLO and i'm writing because i think i can be helpful with any information you would need.
I'm writing because my Grandfather was the drummer in the Quartetto Enzo Gallo, his name is Lorenzo Rampazzo. My Grandfather obviously owns all the vinyls. Now I only have a CD with 13 tracks of the Quartetto, just tell me and i will share it.
If you have any question i will ask him.
    Sorry for my English
    Marco Pastorini
