Tailpieces Di Mauro style

I am wondering if I should change the original tailpieces of my guitars

to that type

Do you know where I can get Di Mauro style tailpieces without having to buy another guitar? Craig Bumgarner does sell them only with an entire guitar attached 😘, and I cannot find an e-mail adress of Killy Nonis. Thank you in advance for every hint!

@Twang Thanks, but I don't have a Facebook account, and don't want to have one. Same with Instagram.

Another possibility would be a swap.

This is the tailpiece of my old mystery guitar:

And the one of the Altamira:

If there are people willing to swap: how do your's look like?

Willie, if you click on the FB link, it'll open a page where Killy's phone number is listed, may be an option.

@Buco Thank you, I was so focussed on "I don't want that Facebook" that I did not notice that old school contact ☎.

Just ordered a tailpiece from Killy Nonis.

These are the photos he sent me:

... but I am still looking for a tailpiece like this:

    or at least like that:

    for my old guitar.

Can't you reuse the one from the Altamira? Just off the wood insert. Or you want nickel?

Yes, that could be an option. But the color of the original brass tuning machines has got a patina over the decades, so the Altamira tailpiece would look too "new". Below is the photomontage that I did to check out changing tailpieces (you already know it). The right one should have a more "worn" look. Maybe there is a possibility to "age" the brass?
