I'm actually going to play at Kristiansand String Swing Festival during mid August this summer. I've been in touch with Gisle and it seems to be a fun event
My new album is being released today in Norway. It's a bebop-album with electric guitar (two songs on nylon string) but of course there are a few gypsy influences. The official release date is next week at the Oslo Django Festival. The pianist on the CD is Marian Petrescu from Romania.
He is like the best of Oscar Peterson and Art Tatum in one package...I've never heard anything like it :shock:

The book is starting to take shape. Except for the 30 useful licks, there will be 4 solos based on the chord progressions of famous standards.
The first solo is quite basic and then it will get more and more difficult, ending with the fourth and final solo in a burning tempo..
I'm certain that this book will be a great resource for both beginners, advanced players and everything in between
