    FYI the founder of Acoustic Image passed fairly recently and it doesn't look like the family plans on continuing the company. Great gear, I have an older Clarus, but something to keep in mind in regards to continued support.

    That's too bad. Seems like a killer combo. 300W with full range speaker at 15 lbs is unheard of. Of course you pay for it...

    Whatever you do, don't get a Fender Rumble 100. It sucks. I know this, because I have one.

    I'm with @DoubleWhisky on the Eich amp. Best sounding combo amp for bass I ever heard. But also somewhat pricier.

    The bud 6 (13 lbs) by Henriksen amps would be worth looking into.
