You're saying if you have you're playing the high E and B string and not touching any other strings, the other strings ring out? That's a good thing. You'd definitely hate my guitars then...

Hi
Over the past 4-5 months, I have inspected, measured, adjusted, and closely listened to a batch of 4 (“503 Basic” 4-brace) Delle Arte-Stringphonics, one of which is the guitar being discussed here. I made a second sub-11g Indian Rosewood bridge for each one, all with slightly lower action than the factory (dyed IRW) bridges. The 4 guitars were ONE serial number digit apart, and about as identical as you can get. I have seen how they behave wrt climate from September to now (they’re all very stable). There’s nothing weird, wrong, bespoke or poorly executed with any aspect of these 4 primo guitars, including both bridges. All 4 sound very tasty and sound “as they should” (and ok, to be fair, the sound might not appeal to everybody, but that’s just personal taste).
I’m saying all of the above ^ because I don’t want a “Well, I read on the internet...” situation to potentially arise where these instruments or the seller gets a bad rap. They’re super-nice and as good as you can get for the price, and geese_com is great to work with.

I appreciate the insight, well I'm not returning it I'm deciding to keep it and just work with it, I guess from what Paul is saying that there's sympathetic ringing which is a good thing, my altimira is very dry, it doesn't have quite the sustain as the 503 but I guess I've grown use to the drier sound?. Maybe it's the climate here in Ohio but the original bridge definitely has less "sympathetic ringing" and I'm just trying to learn and understand about all these different and new factors that I haven't dealt with before coming from electric guitar world. I love going through different trial error/r&D situations and figuring stuff out. I have nothing but great things to say about geese and my transaction with him , I hold no resentment or anything. I know must of this is new to me, but I'd like to think I know what my ears are hearing might help me narrow down somethings I like and don't like in a guitar for what ever my future purchases might be.
I'm going to attempt to record some clips and and put them on SoundCloud or something, for feedback. I'm thinking I'll do one with my altimira and 2-3 with the 503 with the different bridges and with/without some thin foam in-between the tail piece and bridge(which I think helps slightly, could be placebo)

Here is the demo video I shot guitar with the original bridge:
It sounds like you need to mute the strings? that sounds like sympathetic vibration which is something that happens on all good guitars.
