I too do the amp far away thing and when I'm playing it's not bad. It's when I stop playing and the ambient crowd noise fills the mic. I get some supper bad feed back after each song and have to rush to turn it down. I have been trying to get my Shark to work in the system and will eventually. That little thing a not easy to use but when you do get it all set up it is like having the bast sound man in the world.

I'm going to try and build a magnetic pick up here some day soon. I have all the parts I just have to spend an evening (or 3) getting it to fit my guitar.
