All Argies, all the time. The Galli V27s aren't bad though, if you're looking for a cheaper alternative. However, I do have a John Pearse story...someone gave me a set maybe 3 or 4 years ago and I put them on a flattop I keep at work. They're still on there, and they still sound surprisingly good. Or surprisingly okay, at least. I only play that guitar maybe twice a month, though, and rarely for more than an hour. Still, if you figure 18 hours a year, I'm going on 54-72 hours on that set!
I'm just curious, since we're talking about strings...
What gauge do you guys use for the Argentines?
I use the lights for my dg-255, anyone have any experience with which gauge brings about a better sound/tone for the 255.
I also know alot of players who combine both the lights and mediums as well.

As I dealer, I can tell you that the Argies out sell everything else 10 to 1.

Tell me its not so. I get a month out of mine.
A month is about right. Some of the other brands don't last through a gig!

THanks
Yeah, John Pearse lasts about that long, maybe a little longer. Did Savarez fix the g-string that suposedly broke all the time?
And Gallis last about a week for me. The g-string started unwinding in a week and all the other strings sound dead now.
