In photographs of Challain Ferret in the post-war when he played with with Django and Marcel Bianchi, and later with Valia Belinsky, he played the only known lefty Selmer. Or maybe not the only one, in later photos it had a sunburst - maybe it was a refinish. Who knows? That guitar is MIA. In the four photos with Django that I have, he was playing the lefty. Of course, it's been said that Selmer regularly sent a taxi to pick up Django and bring him to the plant where he could try all the latest batch of guitars. So maybe he did play every Selmer😁
