I know this is a very old thread but it seems appropriate to bump it as Django died 70 years ago this year. As stuology says tunes composed by Django alone or with collaborators who pre-deceased him fell out of copyright in the EU/UK in February 2023. Maybe it's time to post a list of these tunes.
FWIW I arrived here 'cos I'm about to record a piece for a compilation CD and would like to do a Django tune.
