I'm wondering if anyone could describe how it sounds and how well it plays.
How would it compare to the sound and playability of a Dell Arte Hommage D-hole?

that's fairly expensive for a gitane. is this a hand built model?

It's at Josh's workshop right now....he says it's the best Saga ever! He's going to buy one for himself.

I still doubt it's as good as US made Dell Arte Hommage, but we'll have to compare them at some point.

Just got a chance to try this guitar out....wow! Way better then the lower end Sagas!! Better woods, neck, top arch, etc. Sound is rich and loud without a lot of the harsh overtone ringing you get with the other Saga models. Neck is also very modern and fast. Well worth the extra cash.

I've been bugging Saga to make a Favino model for a long time (they still don't know what a Favino is). But they did seem to incorporate some Favino like features into this guitar. The three piece maple neck is very Favino. Also, it has an extra long scale length at 680mm (Favino is 675mm).
