I can say that I have seen the Zaiti guys, jammed with Olivier Kikteff and met Romane and Angelo (both truely lovely characters) and I can honsetly say that the Ferre brothers last year at Samois topped it all for me-they are effortlessly cool and send tingles up the spine-have they ever appeared at the Djangofest?
To touch on a subject earlier in this thread, to my mind American guitarists may not have the natural flair of the European players but lets face it, you guys wrote half the tunes that they practice for weeks/years.
Jorgenson still gets my vote as best American player-am I wrong?

No, YOU the man!
I have to say I don't know much of either of these guys stuff but Gonzalos site has some wicked samples and whoever Alfonso's fiddle player is sounds like he is on steroids-lovely stuff

For me one of the great musical experiences of my life was to see The Rosenbergs with Gonzalo, Sebastien and Mattieu on stage jamming together. last year at the end of DFNW.
The Magic really starts to happen when you can play it with your eyes closed

Agree, looking forward to seeing Gonzalo this year at DFNW. Also miss seeing RNT--hope to catch you there in 2010!
