Hey everyone, these are the mods I've made to my Cigano this year. The humbucker is a kent armstrong, and the pickguard I got off of a mandolin. I'll post some audio sometime soon of the humbucker in action.

I had tried the Johnny Smith style mount on the fingerboard, but the string height was too low, so we had to get inventive... bent the brackets a little bit and glued them to the brace. Having the pickup that much lower really makes it the perfect level, not too hot, not too quiet. Goldilocks, I guess.
