Looks like a Boogie Woogie model with non original tailpece and bridge (moustaches added). One was sold on ebay.de couple of weeks ago at 655 euro. This guy is nuts!
Look at this one http://www.palmguitars.nl/large_img.php ... height=626
It seems like mine.i have contact the seller, i'm waiting other photos to make me an idea.
it has been built in catania...Olivieri is going later to Paris...
The Oliveri is similar to mine as well - slightly squat, meaning it looks a little wider than average. Looks like someone fixed it up with nice tuners and a moustache.
I heard back from Francois Charle, and this is his opinion:
"This guitar, as far as I can see on the photo, was surely made by one of
the so many guitar makers in Mirecourt during the 50's and sold in some
music shop in France. "Sonora" just means a name model like they used to stamped on instruments"
What do you think folks? He also suggested that I talk to Jacques Mazz...
theses ones have same label....
One friend said to me that sonora's where made in spain...
Same head, tailpiece, 13.3 frets.,scale +680..and always great sounding...
Last month a bought a guitar branded 'Sonora' from a shop in Paris.
The logo much resembles the Sonora logo that is used on the D-hole Sonora's, but mine is an archtop.
I've searched the intire internet for info, but the only info I wound was on a German wesite called www.schlaggitarren.de There is some info on the Fisoma brand. A guitarstring manufacturer from Markneukirchen, Germany. (http://www.schlaggitarren.de/home.php?t ... es&kenn=44)
Apparently Fisoma made or sold instruments with different names. A few of them are:
"J.G. Ficker&Sohn"
"Reform"
"Sonora"
"Triumph"
"Elite"
"Extra"
"Fisoma"
"Herculea"
"Immer lustig"
"Nymphe"
"Parish-Alvars"
"Rome"
"Accribella"

As for Olivieri, as I said earlier, he has a lot of common traits with Di Mauro and Catania. Take a look at this:

Yes, that's Brazilian Rosewood... the guy was a bit picky when it came to woods, certainly more than Catania!

So Sonora could also be a German brand, but any other info on my guitar or the Sonora brand is welcome!
