Not sure why I cant edit my posts ... I apologize for my thoughts being so disjointed ... trying to reharm and transpose a song called "The Saga of Harrison Crabfeathers" It's why I have no hair left at the same time and avoiding dealing with the hard parts :shock:

For what it's worth--what happens when you try to play along with that video you posted? To me, that's the simplest, best route to getting the sound you want. Trust your ear, and play along until you can't tell the difference.

I'd second jacks thought- find some vids and recordings of M. Chatelan and D. Gastine; and perhaps a few of the other parisian young guns playing tunes you know (or not) and learn to play exactly what they play- down to the exact voicing and all of that!
