Considering the flamenco bit, I suspect is Ponticelli... but whoever is playing, the guitar sounds just great (may I say it? much better than the nylon Dupont I've heard...)

LOL! Dennis, I wish it was. We both played it that day, but Alfonso did the editing and I didn't make the cut!
Frater, it is a really nice sounding guitar; thanks for your comment. I haven't heard another nylon GJ guitar to compare it to. I wouldn't be selling it except Rodrigo Shopis is making one to order for me.
I've never been a guitar player, but I've played one on stage.

Well, I managed to get the vintage guitar ('32 Sel-Mac, with resonator, which will make Kimmo happy.) without parting with the Manouche, but Rodrigo Shopis is actually applying the finish to the nylon string d-hole he's making for me, AND I unexpectedly bought an incredible Favino Jazz N at Django in June, so it really is time for the Manouche to find a good home. Three nylon string gypsy guitars is more than any man needs!
I really want this guitar to find a good home with someone who will use it, so I am happy to drop the price to $1,200 plus shipping. Again, this includes a Hiscox Lite Flight case, a spare set of strings, and whatever Alfonso Ponticelli DNA you can extract from the fingerboard!
There is no resonator, but Manouche did apply fan bracing to the top to replicate the bracing inside the resonator in the original Selmers. The result sounds quite good! It comes with the much-discussed fret dots as well. Sorry, they came with the guitar.
If no one here wants it, it will go to Michael with an appropriate bump in price.

I snatched this sweet guitar up from Michael. Just wanted to rave about it a litte... what a cool instrument! For anyone over-run with guitars, that doesn't have a nylon string version, you really should track one of these down or something similar. It is gorgeous and just so totally different and odd and inspiring in a completely different way. I love it!
On another note, anyone that gets a chance to buy from, email with or hang out with Michael Bauer, is a lucky so and so. He is an absolute gentleman and made the whole purchase was lots of fun. Buying a guitar you've never played from someone you've never met can be a bit scary! So thanks Michael, and thanks Manouche and I'm off to make some weird nylon-ish music!

FAST SALE NEEDED!!! I bought this guitar about a year ago for a score I was composing. This is a lovely guitar, but I have a new ShoPis on the way and general financial woes! It really is a beautiful guitar and the nylon vibe is a really cool change of pace. $1000 plus shipping... and it comes with a flight case that's probably worth $300! Treat yourself!!!
