    Hi Miguel,

    I am in Lisbon.
    Going back to Holland soon.

I traded my stuff for this one in Oeiras.
It isn't the most expensive one in the world..I think a beginner student guitar.

    Brand:

    Antonio Carvalho

    type: 30545

Next time I come back hope to hear that cd and perhaps have a café and a pastel de natas with you.
    Saúde!
    All the best!Emile

    hi again!
that would be uber cool, but my trip could be in danger, we just found out my wife is pregnant, and it will depend on how she feels by then... i´m keeping my fingers crossed, though...

regarding the guitarra, you know more than me! BTW, and kinda off-topic, i´m going to start and learn how to build one: i was lucky enough to get one of the most proficient luthiers to help me with that. if i ever manage to build a proper one, i´ll try and give it to fapy.

on the CD, i guess it´s Movimento Perpétuo by Carlos PAredes. it´s one of my favourite albums ever and one of my all-time musicians heroes. i hope you enjoy it.

    take care,
    Miguel.

    Hi Miguel!

Yes..It is the cd Movimento perpétuo..by Carlos Paredes.
I was seeig dubble..had a fabulous Portuguese dinner and alot of Café with Beirao..lol.
Last night watched alot of videos of Carlos on Youtube.
Today I saw the little caravan selling fado cd's in centro lisboa.
The guy showed me 3 cd's and said Movimneto perpétuo was the best.

Cool you're gonna build one and most of all congrats to you and your wife!!
    That's sweet!!

Maybe see you one day.I hope to come back within 4 months.I got one club in Porto who wants to book Basily..have to find a couple more so perhaps one day you'll see them in Porto.
    Take care,Emile

OK, we can always be in touch via djangobooks. if you need some help here in porto (anything) just drop me a line (mail or PM) and i´ll see what i can do.

i´m still trying to visit the netherlands, i´m just not shure if i´ll make it.

    thanks,
    Miguel.

P.S. - Carlos Paredes is a must. i think you´ll end up loving him. the only problem is that, sometimes, the man is too ,say, gigantic for "normal" back-home-end-of-the-day listening.

I'm a noob with the fado guitar. But I love the instrument alot.
This is what I made after a month of practice.
I played the drums with brushes, bass, fado guitar, keyboard strings and my gypsy guitar.
My broken finger still hurts a little when I press.
Hope some of you take a listen.
