Help with Dream of You

Hi folks,

been fooling around with Dream of You. What a great tune! Love the Rosenberg Trio version on Djangologists and I heard Zaiti play a wonderful version of it last week at Django-a-Go-Go.

I am wondering how people generally play the head. I am having a hard time making it sound smooth, especially that roll on the first phrase, landing on the F#.

Thanks in advance!

Guillaume

    play the G# on the D string, B on D string, E on G string , G# on B string and finally F# on B string

start with an upstroke , followed by sweeps until the B string and finish with an upstroke...

practice with metronome and eat some chicken

Wow, that was nuts; borderline train wreck. I prefer this video recording, also by Super Mario Maccaferri.

The recorded version on Djangologists is a delight.

Shouldn't that be "eat some hedgehog?"

Not to be confused with a grill for the hedgehogs.

    Hey Phil-
One of my faves. This isn't a grill but should do the trick.
