In recent years Jack Soref has been preparing all our Core Repertoire (for Django in June) in 3 formats: Standard notation concert C and Bb, and in Tab/Standard.
These tunes are additional repertoire we encouraged people to learn last year and for the moment they are still available on the Get Ready pages of djangoinjune.com.
Swing de Samois
Valse de Bamboula
C’est Si Bon
Piccadilly Stomp
Sheik of Araby
Better grab 'em soon, though, because we'll have new repertoire up on the site by late January. Those will be in all formats, too.
I would love to see all the tunes that are in the 2008 University of Chicago Django compilation in one place for Bb instruments. Anyone know where that might be or if it exists?
Also, what music software program is very easy to use, just for the purpose of transposing charts? I'm not very ambitious! :-)
