    I second what Michael, Denis and Ben had to say. I did Djando in June back in 2009, and like Ben, moved around to different jam circles to find ones that were at least trying to make a "good" noise, rather than just bashing away. The other thing about jams with so many guitars, other than the sensitivity of guitar/rythm players is that not everybody has to to play all the time. No matter what, evryone has to get under the soloist and make the solo sound good.

    I had the joy of being in his master class for a few hours 2010 djangofest northwest as the ticket monitor and he did cover this topic

    If you get the chance take Tim's masterclass and ask him about projection. I wish I could recall the tips he gave :oops:
