A new video is here, featuring 360° playback, allowing you to immerse yourself in our recording session and experience the music from inside the studio!
" The Jazz Musette Strikes Back with a fourth album: Swing of France & Daniel Givone – Play American Music.
For this new album, we wanted to recapture the spirit of our earlier recording sessions: very little rehearsal, one take per track, and no editing, apart from mixing and mastering. The goal was simple: to preserve the music in its most natural state, with all its freshness, spontaneity, and the energy of the moment.
To these studio recordings, we have added three live tracks recorded at the Les Rendez-vous de l’Erdre Festival in 2026. Three moments captured in the heat of the performance, extending the spirit of the album and showcasing the band’s energy on stage.
For this adventure, Daniel Givone is on lead guitar, joined by Erwan Mellec on accordion, Thomas Le Briz on guitar, and Arnaud Gobin on double bass. "
Today is Bandcamp Friday, meaning all purchases today send 95% of the purchase price to the artist. Swing of France is just one of many groups over there. Check them out and support the music!
We hope you enjoy it! Feel free to leave us a comment and follow our new channel for more videos.
Unfortunately, our Google account disappeared, and we no longer have access to our old Swing of France channel. So if you were following us there, we’d really appreciate it if you could join us again on our new channel.
Thanks so much for your support, and we hope you enjoy the music!
I love Tennessee Waltz. It was co-written by Pee Wee King, whose tiny hometown in Wisconsin is where my mother's family lived. Probably shared that once or so on this forum before, but there really isn't much else going on there. Population was probably only a few hundred people at the time of Pee Wee's birth. Just a few buildings clustered around a railroad siding and grain elevators. Lots of farms.
