Yes, terrific intro! I learnt it but I think the highest chord was too difficult to reach on a twelve fret guitar. I must have a new look at it to find out if it isn't playable after all. It's so good.

Very nice. He likes the metronome on the 3, interesting!

Yes, I noticed that too. And I tried it while practising some waltzes. I liked it. It sounds less mechanical than with all three beats.

try this one out!! i can't do it but the Gypsy guitarist Boba Demeter showed it to me:

I guess it's a D-Δ, is it? I can reach it without too much trouble, both with the thumb on F , and also another way - with a kind of curved barre on the E and e strings but still leaving the D string open.

Without knowing any kind of context of how to use it , it's a pretty awful sounding chord though .. ?!
  • @Wim Glenn ....trade ya fingers ...rofl

Regarding the metronome on beat three: watch the feet tapping on beat three in this video with Koen De Kauter and singer Sarah d'Hont (feet appears at 4.24). It simply has to be the proper way to do it. J'ai deux amours + Mon amant de Saint-Jean

Hm, when I look again it seems like they are tapping on beat two. Something wrong with the synchronisation? Or maybe my beat three convention hypothesis just fell apart...
  • @Wim Glenn it could be Dminor Maj7 odd voicing
