Lindberg was one of the big music stores in Munich when I was a young man. Later they merged with their former competitor Hieber.
I was able to establish the year of my Huttl because 1958 was apparently the year Huttl had a contract with Lindberg to supply archtops with their signature black and white art deco headstock. Don't know if the similar instruments in this thread had a Lindberg link.
My friends Ute (french horn), Martin (tuba) and I (euphonjum, guitar) played a gig at the "48h Wilhelmsburg" festival yesterday:
(In fact we played totally unplugged in a small but beautiful garden situated in a beech grove, with almost 20 people listening, but Martin decided to document the event this way.)
This one was on the French board, but it is too good of a drawing to pass up posting here. Could it be a work of R. Crumb? (Nevermind, drawing credit goes to Fred Beltran)

That's a very elegant looking archtop up there.
One of the local jammers made a sketch of me a few years back.
And a drawing clarinetist, Halley, made for our gig.

I'm thinking this could be an ideal cover pic for my memoirs when published.
I'm already in the "... & I forget things" stage.
